Masuda Monarchs Band & Orchestra
Here at Masuda, the band and orchestra continues to improve and grow year after year. The Masuda Monarchs Band & Orchestra is home of some of the most talented students on campus. We welcome students of all levels, so if you're just a beginner or you started in elementary school, get ready to take one of the most fun classes you've ever had in your life! Each and every year, the Masuda Monarchs Band & Orchestra has the honor of performing at our school's annual event called the Veteran's Day Ceremony to celebrate our fallen war hero/WWII U.S. Army veteran Kazuo Masuda and the Masuda family, as well as all military veterans who served our country. Learn more about Kazuo Masuda by clicking on his name! The Masuda Band & Orchestra performs several times throughout the school year which includes the Holiday Concert in December, the District Monster Concerts in April, the End of Year Concert in May, as well as several school assemblies, pep rallies, and sports tournaments. The Masuda Music Program is proud to announce that we were one of five schools in all of southern California selected to receive the $10,000 musical instruments donation from the Philharmonic Society of Orange County last year! The Masuda Monarchs Band & Orchestra is the perfect place to begin your musical journey. Become a musician and sign up for band or orchestra as your year-long elective class each and every year!
